Refund policy

Our return policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed, unfortunately we can’t offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, the item must:

  • Be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging

  • Include the original receipt or proof of purchase

  • Be approved in writing by our support team prior to return shipment

Returns sent without authorization may be refused.

 


Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Opened or used perfumes, colognes, or fragrance products

  • Gift cards

  • Subscriptions

  • Items marked “Final Sale” or “Clearance”

 


Partial Refunds (if applicable)

Partial refunds may be granted only if:

  • The product arrives damaged or defective (with proof provided), or

  • The item is missing components for reasons not caused by the customer.

 


International Orders

International shipments may experience extended customs or inspection delays, especially for fragrance (HAZMAT) products.
Once an international order has shipped, it cannot be canceled or refunded while in transit or under customs review.
Refunds will only be issued if:

  • The package is returned to us by customs or the carrier, or

  • The shipment is declared lost after carrier investigation.

All international shipping fees are non-refundable once a shipment has been processed, labeled, or dispatched.

Once your return is received and inspected, you’ll receive an email confirming receipt and whether your refund has been approved or denied.
If approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within several business days.
Please note: original and return shipping costs are non-refundable.

 


Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. Recheck your bank account.

  2. Contact your credit card company — posting times may vary.

  3. Contact your bank — there may be additional processing time.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival.
To request an exchange for the same product, email info@scentinthecity.com with your order number and photos of the issue.
